• What is Five Wonders?

  Five Wonders is an invite-only app for sharing your favorite places with friends. Think of it as a private map of recommendations from people you actually trust, not algorithms or anonymous reviewers.

• How does it work?

  Add places you love by searching or dropping a pin on the map. Add notes about why you recommend them.

  View the shared map to see all the places your friends have saved. Click on markers to see details and notes.

  Edit your saved places anytime to update details, add photos, or remove places you no longer recommend.

• What if I can't find my Wonder on the map?

  No problem! If searching doesn't find your place, you can simply click or tap directly on the map to drop a pin at the exact location. Then fill in the name and details manually. This works great for hidden gems, new businesses, or places that aren't in standard map databases yet.

• What's an invite code?

  Five Wonders is invite-only to keep the community small and trusted. Your invite code is an 8-character code that identifies you. Enter it once and it's saved on your device. If you need an invite code, ask the person who told you about Five Wonders.

• Can I use Five Wonders on multiple devices?

  Yes! Just enter your same invite code on each device. Your places are stored in the cloud, so they'll appear on any device where you've entered your code.

• Who can see my saved places?

  Everyone in the Five Wonders community can see places on the View map. That's the point – sharing great spots with friends! Only you can edit or delete your own places though.

• How do I add photos to a place?

  You can add up to 5 photos per place. When adding a new place, click "+ Add photos" before saving. For places you've already saved, go to the Edit page, select the place, and use the photos section to upload images.

• What are the categories for?

  Categories help organize places by type: Dining, Lodging, Attraction, Recreation, Shopping, and Other. They make it easier to find specific types of recommendations when viewing the map.

• How do I add Five Wonders to my home screen?

  On iPhone (Safari):

  1. Open Five Wonders in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow pointing up)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

  On Android (Chrome):

  1. Open Five Wonders in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
  3. Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App"
  4. Tap "Add" to confirm
